The Avast Secure Browser Review is a browser which places an emphasis on privacy and security, with features such as Bank Mode https://connectsecure.info/why-free-or-low-cost-vdrs-are-not-the-best-choice-for-your-business/ and Anti-Tracking Technology. It also comes with an VPN built-in, which allows you to get online fast and remain protected. It is built on Chromium. This means that it appears good, works and can be used with Chrome extensions.

Avast Secure Browser includes a variety of security and privacy extension already installed. These include an adblocker, an antiphishing extension that allows for anti-tracking and fingerprint disguise, HTTPS encryption, extension guard, a password manager and even the ability double-check credentials on websites such as HaveIBeenPwned. You can access all of these extensions within the browser’s Security & Privacy Center. You can also customize each extension individually according to your preferences.

The adblocker’s performance is strong and can be configured to block the majority of ads. It can also block flash files, making pages load faster. The browser is also able to detect phishing sites and warn you of scams that might be in the pipeline however this feature is less robust than Google’s Scam Alert feature.

The browser claims to “track proof,” which is just an euphemism for the Do Not Track standard. The Do Not Track standard isn’t as strong as it could be. The browser’s anti fingerprinting capabilities are also limited and only scrambles a small portion of your user agent string.
